Artist In her personal work Snyder focuses on mixed media, found objects, and participation. She explores discarded technologies through a variety of modalities, both contemporary and extinct.
Teacher Kim Snyder received her MFA from San Francisco State University in 2012. She has taught photography and graphic design at Cal Poly and Cuesta College in San Luis Obispo and Kala Art Institute in Berkeley. Having developed excellent relationships with her artistic mentors, she hopes to provide similar opportunities to her students, and encourages others to become involved with the creative process. Grounded in a strong belief that sharing understanding and craft can benefit both parties, Snyder encourages students to engage with the experience of making.
